Prime Reptilesco will not be held liable for any legal consequences resulting from your failure to comply with such regulations.

1.2 Permit Requirements

For certain species requiring special permits or documentation:

  • You must email clear, legible copies of all required permits to sales@primereptilesco.com within 24 hours of purchase

  • Permits must be valid and current at the time of shipping

  • Failure to provide required documentation will result in order cancellation with a 20% restocking fee

1.3 Age Restrictions

All purchasers must be at least 18 years of age. We reserve the right to:

  • Request valid government-issued photo identification

2. Shipping Policies & Procedures

Prime Reptilesco ships live animals exclusively via:

  • FedEx Priority Overnight service

  • UPS Next Day Air service

Shipping days:

  • Orders placed Sunday through Wednesday before 12:00 PM EST ship the next business day

  • Orders placed Thursday through Saturday ship the following Monday

  • No shipments occur on these major U.S. holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

2.2 Live Arrival Guarantee Parameters

Our live arrival guarantee is subject to strict conditions:

Temperature Requirements:

  • For home/business delivery: Both origin and destination temperatures must be between 35-90°F

  • For FedEx/UPS facility pickup: Temperatures must be between 30-100°F

  • Temperature verification will be determined using official weather service data

Pickup Requirements:

  • Packages held at shipping centers must be collected within 2 hours of facility opening

  • The customer must present valid government-issued photo ID matching the shipping name

  • Packages not retrieved within this window void all guarantees

2.3 Delivery Requirements

  • Signature Mandatory: An adult signature is required for all live animal deliveries

  • First Attempt Only: Our guarantees only apply to the first delivery attempt

  • No PO Boxes: We cannot ship to PO Boxes under any circumstances

3. Live Arrival Guarantee Claims Process

  • Cross-reference weather conditions

  • Consult with veterinary professionals when necessary

  • Reserve the right to request additional documentation

  • Final determination is made at our sole discretion

3.3 Resolution Options

For valid claims, we may offer:

  • Replacement animal (customer pays shipping)

  • Store credit for purchase amount

  • In rare cases, partial monetary refund (minus fees)

4. Order Modifications & Cancellations

  • Size Estimates: Provided measurements are approximations ±1-2 inches

  • Sexing: Not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing

  • Genetic Traits: Phenotypic expressions may vary from expectations

5.3 Breeding & Commercial Use

All animals are sold:

  • Without breeding rights unless expressly agreed in writing

  • Without pedigree documentation unless specified

  • For personal use unless commercial license obtained

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Strict No-Return Policy

We maintain an absolute no-return policy for live animals. Exceptions will not be made for:

  • Change of mind

  • Allergic reactions

  • Housing difficulties

  • Personal circumstances

6.2 Refund Restrictions

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Shipping costs under any circumstances

  • Carrier delays or mishandling

  • Weather-related issues
