Curly Hair Tarantula for sale (Tliltocatl albopilosum)

The Curly Hair Tarantulafor sale (Tliltocatl albopilosum) is one of the most recognizable species in the hobby, famous for its thick, curly setae (hair-like bristles) that give it a soft, “fluffy” appearance. Native to Central America, this terrestrial species is loved for its hardiness, calm nature, and unique texture.

Its dark brown to black body contrasted with golden, curled hairs creates a bold yet approachable look—making it a standout in any collection. Whether you’re new to tarantulas or expanding your lineup, this species offers the perfect balance of beauty, resilience, and simplicity. This species is widely regarded as a top-tier beginner tarantula due to its predictable behavior and ease of care. While handling is still not recommended, they are far less defensive compared to many other species. They are captive bred
